Heather is an owner of Barefoot Yoga Studio. She discovered the many benefits of yoga in 2011 for stress reduction, PTSD, Anxiety & depression. She studied classical yoga and yoga therapy at the Yogalife Institute. She is registered through the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and YACEP. Heather is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is certified in Yoga for Recovery too. Spiritually and soulfully, sharing her gifts, talents, and knowledge is a true blessing. Her passions include yoga and meditation, her 2 sons, animals, nature, art, clay sculpting, and health/wellness
Tracy is an owner of Barefoot Yoga Studio. She has been attending classes at Barefoot Yoga since 2008. She is a yoga instructor and certified thru the Yoga Alliance as a RYT 200. Tracy is a group fitness instructor teaching Strength, Stretch & Balance Classes at Barefoot Yoga. She has taught classes for over 20 years in aerobics, aqua, and piloxing. She has an 10 year old daughter and loves to travel. Her happy place is the shore.
Michele is an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor and an early childhood music specialist. She is so grateful to be able to combine her two great joys, yoga and music, and share them with very young children and their grown-ups. When she’s not on her mat, Michele loves hiking with her hubby and singing with the Oratorio Society of New York.
Sweet, authentic and down to earth. Kayla's intention is to open the minds of others to the connection of body, mind and soul by serving the hearts of many with meaningful moments on their mats. As a young individual who lived in Houston, Texas, Kayla has struggled through varies of emotions and physical image battles. She discovered yoga when she moved to Austin, TX in 2014 which was introduced by her friend. The feeling of acceptance and freedom from within is what sealed the deal. After living about half a year in Austin, Kayla moved back to Houston. She continued to gain more experience in yoga then by 2017 she received her 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification. She later got her Reiki Level 1 and 2 certification and also BUTI Yoga certification. Her desire is to share her knowledge allowing people to understand that yoga is more than just something physical, rather it's also in relation to understanding yourself better.
Yoga has changed Alexandra's life. She wanted to change her body and mind for the better after being injured in a car accident. She has been practicing yoga for 9 years and has been teaching for 3. She specializes in Yin and Restorative yoga. She is also trained to teach senior, chair, seated, prenatal, elementary, beginners, basic, intermediate, Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. She is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance, and is also a certified personal trainer. On top of her current 200 hour RYT, she is currently working on her 500 hour RYT. She has certifications in Yin, restorative, and chair yoga.
Sabrina Dei Medici
Sabrina specializes in Hatha yoga and is a meditation leader. She teaches a class for the young and old. She has an RYT-300 certification from The American Yoga Academy and has a meditation certification from SkillfulMIND. Her interest in yoga and meditation came from her journey to healing herself of various dysfunctions through finding alternative routes. She has been practicing regularly since 2002. She loves the outdoors and animals, and enjoys spending her spare time drawing, painting, reading, writing, cooking plant based meals, and spending time with her family.
Morgan found yoga in college, 20 years ago. The Ashtanga series held her asana practice through her 20’s until an injury and birthing two children redirected her attention inward. Morgan fell back in love with practice; using asana and mindfulness practices to manage physical and emotional pain. She is inspired by the teachings of Ram Dass, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Angela Farmer, Michael Johnson, Shayla Worsley, Sierra Hollister and Joe Taft. She is a 200 hr RYT with Yoga Alliance as well as a professional observer of nature beings and mother of two human and one canine wildling. Morgan creates space for students to journey deeper into awareness of their bodies, minds and hearts. She facilitates classes that explore the eight limbs of yoga, subtle energy anatomy and our place in the natural world. Her passion for plants and herbalism often permeate her classes and you will leave feeling at peace as well as connected to yourself and the world around you.
